Home Visits

Home visits should only be requested for those who are unable to come to the surgery because of serious illness and infirmity as they take much more of a doctor’s time than a consultation in the surgery.

Patients without their own transport are asked to use public transport, taxis or to ask a relative or friend for assistance.

Wherever possible, we prefer to see you at the surgery: if you do not feel well enough to sit in the waiting room, we can make alternative arrangements.

Please try and request Home Visits before 10:30am as this helps the surgery to plan its work for the day, requests can be made on the usual telephone number (0191 5282222).

Out of surgery hours, calls are diverted to our out of hours service (111).
